Weekend at Isla Reta Beach Resort

0

We spent lent at our fave beach resort in Talicud Island together with my wife’s siblings, BIL and the kids. As expected, the resort was full. Glad Lyn was able to reserve a concrete cottage prior to our trip there.

We enjoyed the water, the sun, the view and most of all, we enjoyed camera whoring. Isn’t it obvious?

For those who haven’t been to Isla Reta, here’s how you could go there:

At Sta. Ana Wharf, ride the Isla Reta boat or any boat going to Talicud Island. Fare is PhP70.00 for adults PhP50.00 for kids. Entrance fee at Isla Reta is PhP100.00 for day tour and PhP150.00 for overnight. You can bring tent and pay a minimal fee for it (but you have to pay for the overnight entrance rate). If you want to rent a nipa cottage, it’s PhP700.00 good for three persons. It is not airconditioned and no electric fan is provided. Just mattress and a pillow. There’s also a concrete cottage good for two persons for PhP800.00 only. You can bring food in the resort, they don’t charge corkage fee. If you don’t want to bother bringing your food, you can order from their canteen. In all fairness, their food is delicious.

Eden Nature Park

We drove to the mountains to reach Eden Nature Park located in Eden Bayabas, Toril. We were there before but it is only now that we went there riding a motorbike.

It is more than an hour drive from downtown area. What’s difficult going the uphill road is the constant elevation. No moments of rest for the motorbike but to constantly turn the gear to its fullest for we might fall back. That was an exciting trip anyway though we spend just around 2 hours there.
