We’re another step closer to building our house as we have paid for the downpayment of our equity the other day. The remaining balance will be paid in one year so we need to work harder. I am excited for the day that we have to sit down with the engineer to talk about our floor plan before they will start the construction. According to one developer’s employee, the floors, sink and bathroom will be tiled. As much as we want a cheap laminate flooring (because we want laminated wood tiles in some part of the house), I think the contractor won’t agree on that because it will be tedious on their part compared to installing just one kind of tile all over the house’ flooring. Maybe we could just change the flooring if we want after the house will be turned over to us.
